String Project Magic, monofilament tennis string
String Project Magic is an Arm Friendly® monofilament tennis string, soft on impact, engineered to combine the comfort of a multifilament with the spin of a monofilament. Made with a low polyester content and multiple heat treatments, it absorbs vibrations and reduces stress on the arm, while keeping responsiveness and grip on the ball.

Playing profile
String Project Magic offers comfort (9/10) comparable to a multifilament string: it is soft on impact and stays gentle on the arm even in the longest playing sessions. At the same time, it has the grip on the ball typical of a monofilament, which lets you generate spin (9/10) effectively. Power (8/10) helps you drive the ball with ease, without forcing the shot.

Multifilament comfort, monofilament grip
It is soft on impact and stays gentle on the arm even in the longest sessions, while grip on the ball remains that of a monofilament: effective rotation, with power that helps you drive the ball with ease, without forcing the shot.
Consistent performance over time
Magic stays playable for a long time: tension maintenance (9/10) and resilience (9/10) are the highest values in its profile. The credit goes to the materials it is made from: the blend contains an elastomer that keeps the tension consistent over time, so the string retains its softness and responsiveness hour after hour of play.
Innovative composition
The distinctive feature of String Project Magic is its blend: several materials, including an elastomer, with a low polyester content, subjected to multiple heat treatments. It is this composition that gives it a softness unusual for an Arm Friendly® monofilament, without giving up responsiveness.
The manufacturing processes
Spring Load
It allows the molecular chains to contract repeatedly, with minimal tension loss and greater stability of properties over time.
Pre-Stretch
The pre-stretch of the core minimises tension loss and allows stringing at lower tensions.
Double Heating
The heat treatments remove internal stresses and any irregularities in the string, making it more uniform, flexible and elastic.
Liquid Wax
The string is finished with a layer of wax, which reduces wear, significantly extends its lifespan and makes stringing easier.
Low Friction
Reducing friction offers three advantages: less string movement, greater spin potential thanks to better snap-back, and a longer lifespan.
